2021 Wedding Moments

There were so, so many amazing wedding moments to choose from 2021. It was my busiest year as a wedding photographer ever due to so many weddings being sadly affected by the pandemic. In total, I photographed over 50 weddings in just a couple of months! I’m so happy for all the couples who finally got to have their weddings, and thank you for all the lovely reviews, kind words, and patience from my 2021 couples. It really was a year like no other! I’ve rounded up ten 2021 wedding moments that I think really show just how creative some of my couples are with their wedding planning and ideas.

  • Afternoon tea at Gibson Mill, Hardcastle Craggs at Charley & Ellie’s wedding (plus I gotta mention Charley’s amazing suit!) This afternoon tea set up by Laura Fox Catering complimented the whimsical feel of Charley & Ellie’s small woodland wedding perfectly - plus it tasted amazing!

  • Liv & Davey’s wedding in her parent’s garden which was full of little nerdy references (I really hope ‘backyard’ weddings become more of a trend here in the UK!) Liv’s family DIY’ed so many details for the wedding including this amazing tree branch archway. The whole day felt so magical and relaxed!

  • Welly-wanging at Jenny & Sean’s yurt wedding at High Parks where they work and live amongst the beautiful grounds in a shepherd’s hut! The yurt was DIY decorated beautifully with lots of greenery. I loved the nods to Jenny’s Scottish heritage such as the tartan shawls and iron-bru!

  • Allanah & Scott’s spooky themed wedding at The Venue, Halifax featuring so many pumpkins! And vampire page boys. Allanah & Scott had so much cool DIY decor to match the Halloween theme of their day (they got married on the 30th October!) Scott also works for a brewery, and had their own special beer on tap at the bar for the wedding!

  • The super cool styling (you know I love orange!) at Sophie & Owen’s wedding with stunning flowers by Hannah Elizabeth Flowers. Sophie & Owen’s wedding was so pretty thanks to their amazing DIY skills, plus some help from florist Hannah and Sophie’s sister who did all the stationery.
