Albert Hall Manchester Wedding

Rochelle & Luke’s alternative Manchester wedding

I’m so excited to share Rochelle & Luke’s incredible wedding day at the Albert Hall in Manchester. I know these two love their music & gigs and the Albert Hall Manchester made for the perfect alternative venue. I’m in love with the stained glass windows & exposed brick!

Special thanks to Pearl the cat & Apollo the tortoise for modelling Rochelle’s ring perfectly. (I have to always get the pets involved somehow!)

Rochelle, you looked absolutely beautiful in this Half Penny London dress from The White Closet & simple yet stunning flowers by Baytree Flowers & Coffeehouse

Flower arch at Alberts Schloss by the one and only Frog – super excited to work with one of their florists next month!

Thanks again for an incredible day Rochelle & Luke, I love city centre weddings!

A few words from Rochelle & Luke about their wedding at the Albert Hall in Manchester:

How did you two meet?: Met through mutual friends at Luke’s monthly music club night ‘Lost and Found’ (this club night became a huge success and allowed Luke to move into becoming a full time Music Promoter, which then led to us picking the Albert Hall as our wedding venue!)
Luke sent me flowers for my 21st Birthday, before we had gone on our first date, and the rest is history… (over 10 years later!)

Describe the proposal!: In Central Park, in New York, which was a present for my 30th Birthday.
It had snowed, so we were all wrapped up walking around the park. It was perfect. We then celebrated by wandering around Central Park Zoo!

What is special about your venue?: The Albert Hall is a venue that Luke uses for work often; we have seen many gigs here over the years, and it will be special to get married in a venue that’s not a ‘Traditional’ wedding venue. The stained glass windows and exposed brick are beautiful backdrop for our wedding. We wanted a casual and unusual city centre wedding.

Any details of note about your big day?: Our first dance is a song by Leon Bridges, who we’ve seen in concert at the Albert Hall several times, so this will be a beautiful reminder of other special times we have had in the Albert Hall. All flowers are simple classic and white for a clean and elegant look.
We don’t have a theme for the wedding; just casual, classy and chic.”
