Kelbrook Village Hall Wedding
Beth & Jamie’s Star Wars wedding
If you're a nerd of any kind, you'll know that May the 4th is also known as Star Wars day!
A perfectly fitting date for Beth & Jamie's amazing wedding day at Kelbrook Village Hall. Their wedding was full of little geeky touches including these amazing cupcakes by EBella & beautiful flowers by Val Kenyon - flowers & gifts featuring Lego Star Wars characters.
There were so many little touches to Beth & Jamie's day that I loved. A chilled out wedding reception with Indian buffet food (yum), Jamie's 'groom crew' who were the nicest bunch of ladies, Beth's amazing unicorn shoes & her crown by Howling Moon Headwear, Jamie's colourful get-up including this Rebel and Lace bowtie, the lightsaber cake-cutter... I could go on!
Such a brilliant day & a perfect example of an amazing couple doing their day exactly how they want to.

Here’s a few more words from Beth & Jamie about their day!:
“How did you two meet?: We met on Tinder, I messaged Jamie first and he thought I was a bot. We talked for a few weeks and decided to meet on neutral ground in the Trafford Centre, about 30 miles out of both of our ways. He saw me and ran over to me, which was really cute. Then we watched a film, deleted Tinder from our phones and then went to Jamie's to play some board games with his friends. It was the day before his birthday so he was trying to rush off to the little birthday party he'd arranged, and I wouldn't let him get rid of me that easily!
Describe the proposal!: I was working late at an open event one night and I was looking forward to the home made chicken strips that Jamie had made because they're my favourite. When I walked in the door, he had lit candles dimmed the lights and got onto one knee as soon as I walked in the door. He made a little joke of doing a Harry Potter quote to lead into it, but like a totally unrelated one that had nothing to do with romance and then acted like he'd messed up. It wasn't funny. It was perfectly him and I had to say yes.
What is special about your venue?: The church we have chosen is special as it's where my mum got married, and is the church that I have attended for the last 10 years. We choose the village hall because it allows us to create something that reflects us as a couple.”
