Kimpton Clocktower Wedding

Matt & Ophelia’s wedding in Manchester city centre

A very special wedding preview today! It was finally Matt & Ophelia’s day at the Kimpton Clocktower hotel in Manchester. I know these two very well as Matthew is my boyfriend’s cousin and so I got to spend the day as a photographer/guest. It was lovely to spend the day with people I know and looking back on the preview photos, I admit I got a bit emotional as I consider you all family!
Matt & Ophelia have overcome so many covid obstacles whilst planning their wedding, but I am so glad they got to still have the day of their dreams thanks to the wonderful team at the Kimpton.

Enjoy your preview and I hope you are having a wonderful mini-moon!

A few words from Matt & Ophelia about their special day!:

”How did you two meet?:
In the science block at school (room c54 to be precise) in year 10!

Describe the proposal!: We went to the park we spent our teenaged years wasting our summer in. It rained mid august so we picnicked on the stairs of the house in the park and that’s where he asked me. He brought speakers and we danced in an empty park to our favourite songs in the rain. Then all my family were at his house and we had a little party!

What is special about your venue?: It’s romantic but hard working just like Manchester.

Any details of note about your big day?: We’ve DIYed most things, just because we couldn’t find what we wanted! So why not do it ourselves, teacup candles, glass centre pieces, signs, seating plan, card suitcase and pompom confetti!”
