I was so excited to photograph this Batman themed wedding! Cat & Andy had an alternative barn wedding at Brownsholme Hall & Tithe Barn in the Ribble Valley. Their day was so much fun and packed with so many cool details.
Cat & Andy's wedding theme was 'Bruce Wayne's Manor' - they decorated the Tithe Barn themselves with a gold and black colour scheme, keeping the Batman theme classy and giving it a vintage 1920s spin. The Little Cherry Cake Company made a fantastic Batman themed wedding cake for Cat & Andy which had art deco motifs on it too, tying in with the theme.

We started the day in Burnley for bridal prep with the lovely Bethany & Aimee from The Vintage Beauty Parlour. Based in Manchester, the parlour specialises in the most amazing Vintage hair & makeup for weddings and events. We then headed to Cat's local church for the ceremony before Cat & Andy headed off to Browsholme Hall in style thanks to Malvern Cars.

We had a little bit of time before the wedding breakfast to explore the grounds of Browsholme, so I whisked Cat & Andy away for a few portraits in front of the Hall whilst no one was around. Dating back to the early 1500s, Browsholme Hall is full of history & character as well as beautifully kept gardens including plenty of wildflowers (my favourite!). Once it was time for some food and speeches, we headed over to the Tithe Barn just a short walk away through the stunning grounds.

Furious Styles kicked the evening off with some funk classics whilst guests mingled outside on the patio next to the outdoor pizza kitchen which went down a treat!

How did you two meet?: We met through friends at our local rock night in Rossendale

Describe the proposal!: After a day at Martin Mere feeding ducks, Andy took me out to Langs of Longton for a gourmet meal and proposed over cocktails before dessert.

What was special about your venue?: We loved the stonework in the Barn, the fantastic Italian style pizza oven and the location. The views were fantastic!
