Hannah & Adam’s wedding in the Lake District
Last week I headed to the Lake District for Hannah & Adam’s beautiful wedding at Lodore Falls.
I absolutely loved getting to photograph these two against some of the stunning Lake District scenery!
After Hannah & Adam’s ceremony we headed up to a little spot called ‘surprise view’ for some portraits with Derwentwater in the backdrop. The rained cleared up later on and we were also able to have some photos on the jetty at the edge of the water with some beautiful evening light.

Describe the proposal!: We were on a little holiday in Porto. He made me walks for miles... and we went on a cable car and he pulled out the ring, I was in shock I just was not expecting it. Happiest day ever.
About half an hour before the proposal we were at a bar and I said "I knew you weren't going to propose this holiday that's why I didn't get my nails done!" little did I know...
What is special about your venue?: I love the backdrop, all the mountains and hills. I love the gardens, and the jetty which is a few minute walk. It seems so peaceful and just a lovely place to be away.
