Couple's Session in Puy L'Eveque

I'm back from my travels in France! Even whilst holidaying I found an excuse to use my camera, and who can blame me when the South of France looks this beautiful.

I met up with Alice, Josh and of course the real star of the show Piran the dog in the pretty little town of Puy L'Eveque, situated in the Lot region. Alice & Josh moved to France from Cornwall five years ago. The two came for an extended holiday and never left! They've made a really happy life over here and have completed their family with the addition of Piran the rescue dog. Alice was explaining to me on our video call how her and Josh hadn't had their photograph taken properly since they moved to France, and how she would love to have some photographs of themselves before they 'wake up at 40 with no photos to show for it!'

I've been coming to this part of France for fifteen years now since some family friends moved here. I've visited Puy L'Eveque plenty of times in the past and knew it was the perfect place to capture some quintessentially French charm. Situated on the river Lot, the town has plenty of windy streets and cute little cottages. Alice, Josh & Piran were all dressed in blue which coincidentally matched the town's shutters perfectly! We had a great afternoon wandering round and exploring the streets and of course stopped for coffee afterwards. The session was super relaxed and I really wanted to just capture Alice & Josh naturally in these pretty surroundings. I also made sure to get plenty of photos of Piran - I know how important furbabies are!

It was great meeting these three and I hope we cross paths again next time I am in France.
