Combermere Abbey Wedding
I was back at Combermere Abbey, Cheshire on a gloriously sunny and warm March day to celebrate Rachel & Tom’s wedding. I always love photographing at Combermere for its stunning grounds which look particularly beautiful in the Spring. Rachel & Tom had an outdoor wedding ceremony to make the most of the wonderful weather and grounds at Combermere followed by a drinks reception at the Glasshouse. Their beautiful baby girl Rosie stayed after the ceremony for some photos.
Rachel & Tom had the most fantastic wedding favours - they wrote a little poem for every single one of their guests which fitted the Shakespearian theme of their wedding reception.
To top of a wonderful day, we were blessed with a fantastic golden hour for portraits.

How did you two meet?: My friend went to university in Manchester with Tom, so I met him when I went to visit.
Describe the proposal!: In Iceland - we were at the Geysers where he got down on one knee! It was a very cold and Icey October!
What is special about your venue?: The grounds are stunning, can get much prettier than Combermere!
Any details of note about your big day?: As Tom is an English teacher we’ve named all the tables after Shakespeare plays! We’ve also made all 94 name places - a poem about every guest!
